Connect and Manage Locations

What server is suggested? A suggested country/server proposed by our smart algorithm will be connected to you automatically. Geographical distance serves as its basis. Discover details about how ExtremeVPN’s intelligent lgorithms operate. Take note and execute the actions stipulated below 👇

• Click the Connect circle icon in the middle.

• Check if your connection is successful.
• Look for the connected status.
• To disconnect, find the Green button in the ExtremeVPN app.
• Press the Green button located at the center of the app to disconnect.

 

So you want to connect to a particular location? No worries, ExtremeVPN has over 6,500+ Fastest VPN Servers in 78+ countries, and you can connect to one of them.

• From the upper left, select the Hamburger icon  (≡)

• Press Locations 🌐

• To connect, either press your selected nation or use the search option.

• Hooray! Your selected country is now connected to you.

This feature, given by the ExtremeVPN app, allows you to explore different cities within a country. How do you choose? Follow the steps below.👇

• A list of cities will display if you click the arrow icon next to the locations.

• Choose a Quantum Resistant (QR) server location from the available options: US, UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, Singapore, or the Netherlands.
• Note that QR servers exclusively support the UDP protocol.

• Connect to the system.
• Locate the “Connection details” option.
• Click on “Connection details” to open it.
• Check whether quantum resistant encryption is enabled or not.

Want to find a location but are sick of scrolling up and down? Want to sort the locations more easily? The steps are listed below.👇

• Press Locations 🌐

• Use the Sorting icon at the top to access sorting options.

• Choose “Sort by Popularity” to sort locations by popularity.

• Locations are now sorted based on popularity.

• Select “Sort by Alphabetically” to sort countries alphabetically.

• Countries are now sorted in alphabetical order.

• To sort locations using Ping, press “Sort by Ping.”

• Locations are now sorted based on Ping.

Struggling to identify the optimal servers for torrenting? These simple steps will simplify your search. Follow the instructions below to filter out the countries that support P2P. 👇

• Press the funnel icon in the upper right to filter locations by P2P.

• Mark check ☑️ P2P supported and click OK.

• Locations are now sorted by countries that enable P2P.

In our latest update of Android TV application we have added a Shortcut option that allows users to access their favorite streaming applications.

Excited? 😉

To use this feature, complete the steps outlined below. 👇

• From the upper left, select the Hamburger icon (≡)

• Tap Locations 🌐

• Tap + icon to add a Shortcut.

• Display a list of popular streaming channels.
• Search for your preferred streaming channel.
• Add the desired streaming channel (e.g., Netflix) to your selection.

• Look for the option to select your location and click on it.
• A list of supported locations will appear.
• Choose the United States as your desired location (for this example).
• Confirm your selection and wait for the connection to be established.
• Once connected, you can now access Netflix with regional-based content available in the United States.

• ExtremeVPN suggests a name for the shortcut by default.
• You can change the suggested name if desired.
• Rename the shortcut as you prefer.
• Tap on “Add Shortcut” when finished.

• The newly added shortcut will appear in the location list.
• To add more shortcuts, tap the + icon once more and repeat the previous steps.
• To connect, simply tap the newly created shortcut, and it will start connecting.

• You’re connected to the newly generated shortcut.

• The selected streaming app will open automatically within a few seconds. Simply log in and access it.

Don’t worry if you can’t locate your preferred website in the list! You can also make your own shortcuts.

• To create a shortcut, tap the + icon.

• To add a custom URL, simply put the URL into the search box.

• In this scenario, we’ll use Google as an example. You can go to any website you choose.
• Select Add Shortcut.

• Choose the desired website you want to access.
• Select a location where the website is accessible.

(Like, if you want to access BBC iPlayer, choose the UK as the location since it is only accessible in the UK.)

• By default, ExtremeVPN suggests a name for the shortcut.
• You have the option to change and rename the suggested name.
• After making any desired changes, tap on “Add Shortcut.”

• To improve your app experience, we’d like to know if you permit ExtremeVPN to save your shortcut preferences. Select Yes or No based on preference.

• Find the location list and locate the newly added shortcut.
• Tap the + icon to add more shortcuts.
• Repeat the previous steps to add additional shortcuts.
• To connect, simply tap the newly created shortcut.
• The shortcut will start connecting.

• You are now connected to created shortcut.
