How to Configure Port Forwarding on a Belkin Router

Step 2: Let’s log in to your Belkin F7D1301 v1 router. You can access the router’s web interface using any web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Edge. The choice of browser doesn’t usually matter.

• Locate the address bar in your web browser.
• Enter your Belkin F7D1301 v1 router’s IP address (usually 192.168.2.1) in the address bar.
• Press enter and wait for the result.
• Follow the procedures on our “How to Find Your Router’s IP Address” page to see whether the router’s IP address has changed if you don’t receive the desired outcome.
• Click on the “Virtual Servers” option in the left sidebar.
• In a box, you will be prompted for your login and password.
• Use the following default login credentials:
  • Username: admin
  • Password: password
• Enter your password and click the “Submit” button to log into your Belkin F7D1301 v1 router.

Step 3: Finding the port forwarding section of your router is the next step. Here’s how to go about it. Taking your router’s first page as a starting point:

• In the left sidebar, select the Virtual Servers option.

 Step 4: For instance, these are the ports for Xbox Live to forward:

TCP Ports:          3074

UDP Ports:         3074

• Check the Enable checkbox.
• Enter a descriptive name in the description box to remember the purpose of the forward.
• Enter the port to forward in both the Inbound field.

Step 5: and the Outbound Port boxes.

• Choose the protocol for the ports from the Type dropdown menu.
• Enter the destination IP address in the Private IP Address box. It can be a computer or another device on your network.
• Save your changes by clicking Apply Changes at the top of the screen.
• Verify if your forwarded ports are open by conducting a test.
